nr: 337 /  1931 Ford Model A Fordor

This 4 door A Ford was origianally delivered new in The Netherlands as a new car in 1931, and, after a brief stay in Belgium, returned to the Netherlands. The straight shape of the front door, suggests that this is a chassis from Briggs. The so-called "white-wall"tyres, were and still are a popular feature for these cars, as well as the radiator mascot, and the so-called Cowl lights. Please note the vaccuum controlled wind screen wipers on the outside of the windscreen, and the flower vase on the door post. Also a special feature, is the vaccuum controlled horn. The fact that this car is fitted with brakes on all four wheels, and hence has a shorter breaking distance, is indicated by the warning sign on the rear right scren.
