nr: 97 / 1936 Ford Model Y Saloon
This Ford model was produces between 1933 and 1937 in England, Germany and South Africa. It was the first model specially designed for markets outside of the USA. The metal wire stake wheels and the, on the rear aend of the chassis mounted spare wheel, were part of the standard package back then. The car was available in a 2 and 4 door version. The doors are the so called suicide model., which means the open at the front end, which made entering the car easier. The small engine that was issued, still delivered a top speed of max 95km/h.
